  1. Wanting on this side of the world too. Closure is totally underestimated in this modern or postmodern world. Which reminds me of something I figured out. I think you know you are old when the world changes, the young have their way with new norms and fads, and I don’t like any of it. I gave digital music a chance, as an example, and it isn’t really music any more. It’s background noise or something poured directly in an ear. They can have it. I’ll tend my turntable and marvel at the depth of stage of my stereo… without frickin’ surround sound, thank you. I’m old. I listen to vinyl and appreciate the courtesy of closure. Ancient maybe. Anachronistic would be kind.
