today
tomorrow
yesterday
they blur
she said
and I don’t
even know
which one
I’m standing
in
how
she asked
do you tell
the difference
and having
once
lived in
a world
like that
all I could
do
was say
it passes
to one
already
gone
too far
to hear
It should only be that simplistic.
Very nicely done..!!
Thank you.
Moving … your words moved me . .
Thank you for that kind comment.
Oui … xox
you inspire me to cut my verbosity. Your poetry delights me. I would love to visit your exotic world. Of course, I also live abroad and find life full of adventure and yet also peaceful. Must come from inside of us, no? hugs, pat
Ah, so you live in Brazil. How lucky. I loved the people when I was there (in Recife) and should have stayed to teach but I was very happy in NY back then and the opportunity slipped away. But adventure can be found in many places and I am quite comfortable here with the life I lead now. I sense you are, too, there.
Yes, I am from Florida but walked away from my life 13 years ago and became a volunteer here on an ecological project. Best decision I ever made. Living in such a different culture, really makes one look at values, habits, etc., doesn’t it. I love my life…always interesting. I now live alone inside the floresta and am finding the quiet solitude another growth-provoking experience. Life is good. Nice to meet you. I downloaded one of your books and look forward to reading it next. hugs, pat
