  1. It’s easy to do the comparative exercises in tragic circumstances like these. I remember there being a big uproar about the Nigerian attacks in the news early this year. I barely watch the news but I was aware of it. I care about the deaths of innocent men, women and children everywhere. No loss is greater than another. I wish you a peaceful weekend, Leonard.

  2. I fear that whether it’s in Kenya or in Paris, it’s not the victims we care about as much as it is the ‘drama’ unfolding before our eyes . . . And like ‘reality TV’ we lose interest as soon as the next show is on . . . Sad, but true . . .
