In Kate's World
How sad… I’m afraid she won’t find what she’s looking for. What we ought to find is the One who makes us feel whole again as WE are all broken in one way or another (which I believe she forgot to acknowledge herself).
Very true
I was going to write the same thought, as well. I noticed how this particular post moved a lot of Len’s followers to comment. Brokenness, loneliness, betrayal, disappointments, failures, etc. are simply a tragic fact of life. The only real solution is as you stated, Ember.
I agree that there wasn’t much introspection in the conversation I overheard.
Sending you hugs and love from a distance, Len. xo
Thank you. Always grateful to receive it.
What a commentary. There’s so much packed into those few words.
I did try to find the gist of their conversation.
We are all a little broken, that’s sad.
Yes, it is.
Thankfully not everyone thinks that way. 🙂
Very true.

This was such a sad thing to read. Aren’t we all a little broken with some of life’s experiences? Doesn’t love involve understanding and healing?
Thank you for sharing this.
The pleasure was truly mine. I just found it so shocking, I had to mention it.
It would be better to have a man who’s broken-in 🙂
That’s one way to look at it, Mary.
🙂
For sure.
Unfortunately.
We can’t escape that inevitable doom. I mean . Dare to love? Prepare to fall. I can see it both ways. It does suck to be with someone who can’t let ghosts… be ghost. Their never… really… I’m it with both feet, because of scars left upon their heart. Yet at the same time isnt that part of growing learning to love again and also accepting that just like you (not you…if that makes sense) they have their ghosts to put to rest
Beautiful poem. Life’s experiences leave all of us a little broken at times. Some of us mend – some of us want others to do the repairs! Anita
Blimey, cool haiku !
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
Well, if she (and I’m assuming it’s a she) has learned that much, it’s a start.
Yes, it was two women talking and hopefully a start toward something better for both.
What a sad World we live in. Attraction, Love and Romance, where are they. Perhaps I am too Old Fashioned.
It would be nice to bring back some of those “old fashion” feelings/thoughts back.
