from a line by Wei Ying-wu

ah this life
a long journey
and we travelers
stumbling along
with uncertain hearts
the wind at our backs
the sun on our faces
our eyes on the bend
in the road

  1. Was at a museum the other day and some realist painting with a potato digger in the background and two young women approaching with a bend in the road to the right. Wish I could remember the artist, but the road that wound out of sight caught my eye this time. One of those pictures you want to return to, see what it has to say this time.
