from Seven Verses by Yun-k’an Tzu

Laugh if you want,
I understand.
So I’ve used up a fortune . . .
I’ve thought it over carefully,
and it doesn’t bother me.
I’ll just straggle down this road
till I’ve danced to some paradise . . .

    • Though there is no biographical information on this poet, he is believed to be one of the Taoist poets of the Yan Dynasty which places him in the same time frame as Hafez. So rather than coming back around, they existed during the same century.
