The brevity of this one makes it even a little more chilling–not enough time for the reader to relax into the poem before he’s dropped off the bottom end of it, his own ghost in tow. Great work.
Thanks, Jeff. I actually wrote it with a young friend in mind who has a ghost to deal with, though that could be said for many of us.
