A great poem! You are psychic – this is the poem for this coming Saturday on Illustrated Poetry!
Ah, I look forward to seeing it.
This poem is my life! All I do all day long is ask people why they think I/we cannot do something and then explain how I/we can/will — usually the expletive stays under my breath. Usually. It’s been bad lately. 🙂 Thanks for the poetic alternative!
You’re welcome. I’m sure Marianne Moore wouldn’t mind you using it.
Clever isn’t it! Simple. Strong and original imagery. Clear rhyme and strict syllable count (both unfashionable now but they seem to suggest that the whole thing is light hearted, almost superficial, whereas it’s not!). Clever.
She certainly knew what she was doing. Glad you appreciated it.
Wonderful.
Glad you think so.
You are most welcome.
