look inward
eyes drawn irresistibly

In Kate's World
You could be writing about Aphrodite, Helen of Troy, Cleopatra … … Perhaps you are, Leonard.
I think all men have their own Helen of Troy, that ideal of a woman who, for them, could launch a thousand ships, and perhaps, for women, an ideal of Heathcliff maybe or some Byronic hero, or a Romeo, depending on age and temperament. The concept may change with age and experience and, if one is fortunate enough, may actually even be attainable in one’s life. And yes, I write of my Helen, and whether real or imagined, she is there at the center of the world for me.
Perfect reply. Congratulations Leonard! (I could report the same, although I’m no Heathcliff!)
Simply beautiful, Len. xoxo
Thank you, H. It’s always nice to see you drop by. Hope all is well with you.
All is well, Len. Been really busy, but I peek at some posts whenever I have the time. I hope all is well with you too.
Lovely.
Thank you, Amy. That is kind.
