Ohhh, sad.
Goodbyes are always sad. At least where friends are concerned.
Mm hmm, yes.
Having returned from a month in St. George, Bermuda, I can relate to this! Traditional Sunday breakfast which we indulged in weekly is called “Codfish breakfast”….salted cod, potatoes, avocado, banana, red sauce/butter sauce/both, and onions. Absolutely delicious! Happy eating — hard to say goodby!
Love this post!
Thanks. And your breakfast sounds great.
What a send off! My daughter and I were just reminiscing about those amazing Turkish breakfasts–set you up for the day, or a voyage.
Thank you. And breakfasts here are a delight.
Good bye looks to be several hours away, minimum …
The poem seems a thoughtful gift for the voyager.
Actually, yes it is/was. Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks like a tasty breakfast.
It was, Bill.
