I am through
Dragging it
All these years
At the tip of my feet.
About time
We live a little,
My shadow
At someplace,
I
Someplace else.

Love this! Quite some time ago I did a post on my shadow. Love this interpretation of dragging it around all these years! Some days I feel like a gorilla — where my arms are practically dragging on the floor. Other days, I’ve got the pep of my thirties (notice I didn’t say twenties). But this….dragging my shadow along…..GREAT visual imagery. Thanks for posting! I shall think about this as I go out on this sunny day 🙂
I’m glad you not only liked it but identified with it. And one’s thirties are so much better, I think, than one’s twenties. You know a bit more about your strengths and weaknesses.
