Which is why we shouldn’t be afraid of taking risks and failing. In art, and in life.
I used this adage while raising my children. Yes, it was hard to sit back and watch them fall, but the triumph of seeing them succeed and become productive, and exceptional human beings is proof positive, that by not being a ‘helicopter parent,’ my children learned how to fly.
