In Kate's World
And a great many are watching from a distance.
This country is too divided and I see no signs that that will change after this election. And that saddens me because I love these people.
There is just too much division in the entire world. I see no change coming any time soon. I’m with you with a saddened heart.
Seeing the results of todays’s election has deepened the sadness in my heart.
Beautiful poem. Sorrowful day … Anita
Yes, a very sorrowful day.

One hopes so anyway.
It may be an impossibility to think that what I say is true. In my life, I have been blessed. Something tells me that it is the same for you.
It depends on how one defines blessed. But it’s been an interesting life and I’m happy with the person I became. To me, that’s blessed.

Enjoy a great week. Keep writing. I really enjoy your work.
Thank you. What we survive often makes us stronger. Best wishes for you on your own path.
Ah Istanbul….we are watching with sadness and dare I say, even today, hope for a wonderful people.
Well half the population is happy anyway.
A wonderful country, full of strong, resolute people. One can hope that peace and justice will prevail, at least in the hearts and minds of those that care more for others than power.
Yes, one can hope for that.
