Yes, so true. I saw the bottomless pit of sorrow and shame as I helped raise my parents, for they could not raise themselves.
Substance abuse ruins many people’s lives when they try to find peace artificially.
Yes, and sadly they can be some of the most kind and brilliant souls that we know. It’s devastating to see that disappear right before our eyes.
