In Kate's World
so very appropriate and sadly beautiful, my heart goes out to the people of Istanbul and Turkey and the world.
Thank you for this lovely comment and for your compassion and empathy.
I wish there was something I could say that is comforting but know that our hearts are with you over there.
Thank you.
Quite beautiful, may there be peace in our world. May our hearts reach out.
Thank you.
What can a single person say? So sad..
Thank you. There really are no words.
I’m glad you are safely back. What a tragedy in Istabul.
Leslie
Here and everywhere it seems.
Do keep safe.
Leslie
Thanks, Leslie. You, too.
I plan too.

There must be many, too many, with tears. Not just in Istanbul. Throughout the world there are too many tears.
You are so right. It is beyond one’s ability to comprehend what is happening all over this world.
I’m sorry, man. Brutal.
And there is no end in sight to all this.
There seems to be no end of people willing to blow themselves up to inflict murder and maximum harm to innocent people. I don’t understand it. The simple explanation is to describe it as a manifestation of evil. But that’s too easy. I dunno, Len. I don’t think there’s a solution. Humanity is an odd herd.
I agree, Jim. With these bombings and senseless mass shootings, mayhem everywhere. What a world we have created. And in our own image, I’m afraid.
A hard truth, methinks.
Ah, hell. What can anyone say? Senseless tragedies, everywhere.
Yes, everywhere. A day doesn’t go by that someone somewhere isn’t a victim of a senseless act of violence.
My thoughts are with you and the people of Istanbul and Turkey. Stay safe, my friend.
Thank you. You be safe, too, for safety is a luxury in these times.
Yes, unfortunately, that is true. Thank you, my friend 🙂
That is so touching and tear jerking. Peace to you all.
Thank you, Anna.
Along with the others, I, too, am saddened, shocked and disgusted by yet another senseless attack upon innocent people. As soon as I became aware of this incident my thoughts turned to you and your recent return to Istanbul. Glad you are safe…wish and pray all will be.
Thank you, Michael.
