sets in
clouding the brain
which never deals well
with clouds
and one stands
on precipices
looking everywhere
but down
which is ultimately
where one goes
when stepping off
into the unknown
I even feel like that when I study a six page foldout menu at a nice restaurant!
Menus at diners do that to me.

No! This time I do not agree. Sometimes when we take a step off the precipice we fly on an up-draught of wonder and adventure. But I’m glad you wrote that because it made me think that.
