I can think of whole countries.
Yes. So can I. And Australia doesn’t always have clean hands.
I’m not sure any country can claim clean hands anymore, if ever.
We are. All culpable. And the tragedy is that I think we always have been. Despite outpourings of empathy and kindness across generations, for thousands of years humans have also always accepted, tolerated, justified or just simply looked the other way.
