It is just such an old old story and it seems it must be retold to every generation – to your people and my people and our neighbours and strangers as well.
If only the telling & retelling led to a resolution.
It’s never going to stop. As long as governments and people hate, are greedy, seek more power, and do not care about the people they kill…never ending. A few men are going to destroy the planet and all life and the millions of us don’t seem to be able to do anything aobut it. The thing that really bothers me is that our corrupt and disgusting government in America would think nothing of turning the armed forces against us, the people. BUT, how brain washed are our troops that they don’t realize that they are supposed to PROTECT THE PEOPLE from the government and any harm? They are us. They are willing to follow orders and kill their friends and families for the rich and evil. How does that work? It happens all the time. I can’t understand that. I think humans are death. We are violence, destruction, heartless, able to eat living beings and kill for sport. We are a curse on this ONCE gorgeous planet and the death won’t stop until we are gone. Hopefully, with time, the planet will come back to life and perhaps some wildlife will survive to enjoy a bit of freedom without fear. But I doubt that our illustrious leaders will ALLOW any life to exist, by the time they’re finished. At the end, they’ll turn on each other and it will finally be over.
I think the leaders of any country who starts a war should be on the front lines unitl the war is over or until he’s dead. Leaders should be put into the coliseum and fight to the death. The winner wins the war and no actual people are harmed but the idiots who want war in the first place. Other than that. Good luck, thinking things will get better. Maybe if there’s a catastrophic event, the survivers will work together until the whole thing begins again. I doubt this is our first time. We are a truly destructive force and, LOVE is never the answer, RESPECT IS. No one respects anyone any longer. The governments do not respect the people and the people do not have any respect for our evil overseers. We are broken. We are killers. That’s what we do best. Destroy things. We are lied to and none of us know what’s going on.
So much truth in what you say. Often I feel like this, and see little hope for humanity. I pity the children for we are not leaving them a world fit to live in.

Yes. And there seems no reasonable solution possible. That’s what makes it even more heartbreaking.
The heartbreak is soul-destroying,
