Sounds gorgeous in translation. I always wish, when I read a translation, that I could hear it equally well in both languages. I suppose I’ll have to make do!
Thankfully there are gifted translators who make it possible for us to enjoy the work from other languages/cultures. This particular poet is also a translator of several volumes of Turkish prose/poetry.
Yes, now that would be something–to read (in English) the thoughts of this poet on how he made his choices when translating his own work.
