called serenity
a final home

In Kate's World
Sounds as though you need to stay out of the water for a while. Enjoy the sea breeze.
There does come a time when one needs to land.
Whether you meant to or not, you inked a pretty good pun in ” to land” ! BTW, I just looked into some of your books via Amazon. I believe I will buy your Rizzo’s World book as soon as I finish rereading the Count of Monte Cristo which is such an enjoyable read. I look forward to reading your latest book.
No pun intended, Michael. And please let me know what you think of the book after you read it. I would appreciate it.
Will do.
I’m at the edge of the sea at the very moment… the whisper of each oncoming wave…serenity indeed, Len.
Glad to hear it. May you always have peace.
Excellent! Superbly written!
Thank you, Daniel.
wonderful poem. it has a special poignancy for me because for so long my go-to analogy for how i felt about my life was that i was just treading water (and wondering a time whether to just stop and sink below the surface). when i finally was able to stabilize and get my mood disorders under control, my go-to analogy was that I had finally reached the shore.
I’m glad it had meaning for you. I think we all at one time or another feel like we are treading water.
Moving and touching. Thank you.
Thank you for this comment.
