So true, which is one advantage to living outside the country at present. But soon I’ll have to endure that, too, when I move back, especially in this election year.

Talking heads are everywhere, and some talk more nonsense than others, but they still talk and talk and talk….but say nothing of substance. As for their looks, one candidate always has something to say about someone else. Nausea resonates with me, as well. When you get back to NY, you will need to fast from TV coverage until December!

You would think a country like ours would breed a better kind of politician but the system seems to attract and nurture the very worst in human nature.
I agree. The monster our government has become is not what our founding fathers intended.
We have drifted away from the concept of what America has stood for unfortunately. I keep thinking, though, there are cycles, and hopefully we’ll drift back.
