“We come on the ship they called the Mayflower
We come on the ship that sailed the moon
We come in the ages’ most uncertain hour
And we sing an American tune”

— Paul Simon, American Tune, 1975, lyrics, song quotes

  1. Memories memories memories…….He changed the face of songwriting to bring the world to itself… so much has changed ..yet so much stays the same. My brother introduced me to “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” , in 1967 and he rarely got so excited over folk music. And now our relationship is shattered….far apart.
