INTOXICATED by Han Wo (translation)

another translated from the Chinese by Mary Tang on her blog Life is But This

Life is But This 命

Another poem from the Tang Dynasty poet, Han Wo (842 – 923), nephew of Li Shang Yin.

INTOXICATED by Han Wo

Endless clear waters endless sky

One village of mulberry bushes

One village of smoking fires

No one woke the fisherman

From his drunken sleep

He wakes in the afternoon

To a boat filled with snow

翁醉。韓偓

萬里清江萬里天,一村桑柘一村煙。

漁翁醉著無人喚,過午醒來雪滿船。
