Really lovely, never had a Turkish Coffee, but I recall my late Husband saying that his Grandfather who was from Greece, Salonika, and his business was making handmade Cigars, would always smoke his Cigar and insist on his Turkish Coffee, my Husband as a young boy, would witness this every time he was “summoned” to see his Grandfather. My eldest Son loves his Turkish Coffee.
Have you tried it yourself? It is very strong. Many people turn the cup over after they’re finished and wait for the grinds to cool. Then someone will read their fortunes in the grinds.
No I have not tried myself Leonard, but love the idea of turning the cup over to read the fortune. I gave Jonathan my little Copper Turkish Coffee pot I had, he uses it. I must have him make me a cup of Turkish Coffee.
