there you were
in my dream
as young as you were
when I was a kid
and you said
you were letting the past
go
but I could not
release it
I reminded you
of that Chinese restaurant
you always took me to
on our yearly pilgrimage
to Macys
during holiday season
then you smiled
as you faded from view
and my eyes
turned to liquid
and my heart
melted away
What an amazing dream. It sounds like your mum came through from the spirit realm to give you a message.
Thank you. Perhaps she did.
I agree with you, Suzanne. Dreams can tell a lot about what’s in our sub-conscious but also they are, I believe, a vehicle to connect with the spirit realm which seems to like to connect through symbols. .
I agree with you there.
Moms always seem to be there when we need them, they never really leave us. Beautiful dream, Leonard.
Thank you, Patricia.
You’re welcome from a mom who knows. xo

Thank you for reblogging this poem.
I love it! You’re welcome!
How beautiful and how lovely for her to stop by for a visit with her sweet son.
She comes often now as do others from my past who are gone from this world.
Thank you for sharing this dream.
Thank you for appreciating it.
So expressive and beautiful. As I read it I was pulled into the poem.
Thank you, Teri.
