there are some mornings
the call to prayer
resonates
after a long illness
or a hardship endured
but at no times
more than these
with the passing
of a beloved friend
for words fail
to express
what the Ezan
does for me now
it speaks the volumes
in my heart
So sorry for your loss. I too have lost good friends in the last couple of years. Maybe I can find a recorded call to prayer. Take good care of you. Love your poem.
Thank you, Sabra.
We are at that time of life. All of us are vulnerable. Grace is a gift. Be well.
Thanks, Jim.
We’re so sorry for your loss dear Leonard, may your friend rest in peace 🕊
Thank you.
Sometimes we can have a talk with out conversation just in our mind…the sound of ours friend look so real….. that we think that we are close again……… but the noise. Of the nurse in the room bring us to the reality.
Thank you, Ramiro. You actually met him when he visited me one time and came to the ELI.

So hard to lose our friends and beloved …every time a little more alone. A long winter.
