I’m like some partridge or quail—
going south, then flying lazily north.
And now I’ve come to find you here,
a little wine returns me to the moon.

#Rehana's 🔥🔥🔥🦋🦋motivational thoughts
It is really funny to see such everyday events recorded in very ancient writing, even though I know human beings must always have done such things. And i am sure humans found how to make alcoholic beverages very early on in their existence. Here in New Zealand in Autumn we have the native wood pigeons falling out of trees after overindulging in the fermented berries of the Karaka tree.
That must be a sight. Drunk wood pigeons! Wonder what Li Po would have made of that.
It is quite a sight according to the conservation rangers ! Li Po could have really made something of it. He has quite an interesting turn of phrase.
He most likely would have identified with them.
That could well be !!
